State: Lyophilized synthetic peptide (> 95% pure).
Purity: >95% pure.
Reconstitution: Restore with 0.1 ml of distilled water.
ApplicationsThis peptide may be used for Neutralization and Control experiments with the polyclonal antibody that reacts with this product and p300, catalognumber SP5316P.
Using a solution of peptide of equal volume and concentration to the corresponding antibody will yield a large molar excess of peptide (~70-fold) for competitive inhibition of antibody-protein binding reactions.
Description
AASequence: This antigen is a 14 amino acid synthetic peptide whose sequence corresponds to residues 139-151 of human p300. The sequence of this peptide is (amino to carboxy terminus): G139 - T - S - G - P - N - Q - G - P - T - Q - S - T151 - C (The C-terminal cysteine has been added to facilitate conjugation and is not a part of the native human p300 sequence).
