Reconstitution: Restore with 0.1 ml of distilled water.
ApplicationsThis peptide may be used for Neutralization and Control experiments with the polyclonal antibody that reacts with this product and the AR, catalognumber SP5177P.
Using a solution with equal weights per unit volume of peptide and corresponding antibody will yield a solution with a large molar excess of peptide that is able to competitively bind the antibody.
Description
AASequence: This antigen is a 22 amino acid (amino acids 1 - 21) synthetic peptide whose sequence is from the amino terminus of the mouse, rat, and human androgen receptor (AR). The sequence of this peptide is (amino to carboxy terminus): M - E - V - Q - L - G - L - G - R - V - Y - P - R - P - P - S - K - T - Y - R - G - C (The C-terminal cysteine has been added to facilitate conjugation and is not a part of the native mouse, rat or human AR sequence).
