| Background | EDG6, a Lysophospholipid/Lysosphingolipid Receptor, may regulate lymphocyte cell signaling. EDG6 is activated by sphingosine-1-phosphate.
EDG6 has been reported in fetal and adult lymphoid and hematopoietic tissues Graler et al, 1998) as well as in rat lung and Burkitt lymphoma cell lines. Contrary to other receptors of the EDG family, EDG6 is not expressed in the nervous system. |
