| Specificity | Detects human Lysophosphatidic Acid Receptor Edg7/LPA3 (Family: GPCR, Subfamily: Lysophospholipid/Lysosphingolipid). It is expected that this antibody will also react with mouse Edg7 because of 100% sequence homology of the peptide used for immunisation (2nd cytoplasmic loop). Rat identity/homology is 40%/53%.
EDG7 has been reported in human prostate, as well as rodent brain, kidney, lung, placenta, prostate, and testis. ESTs have been isolated from a normal prostate library, as well as cancer libraries of the head/neck, ovary, and thyroid. Ligand: Lysophosphatidic Acid (LPA) Species: Human. |
