Datasheet Extract
| Immunogen | Purified 70kDa subunit of human Ku protein Swiss Num.: P12956 |
| Format | State: Liquid serum containing 0.09% Sodium Azide |
| Applications | Western Blot: 1/5000.
Immunoprecipiation. Gel Super Shift Assays. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: 1:100; this product does require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections; we recommed the use of antigen unmasking fluid for this purpose; a two hour incubation with SP1137 is recommended. |
| Specificity | This antibody recognises the Ku70 protein strongly in Western blotting techniques. Some weak cross-reactivity with Ku80 may be observed in certain conditions. Species: Human, Xenopus, Hamster, Rat, Mouse. |
| Storage | Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
