| Background | ATM Protein is a 350kD polypeptide that is the product of the ATM gene. The ATM gene is defective in Ataxia telangiectasia. ATM protein is expressed within the nucleus of all normal cells, and is thought to be important in detection of DNA damage. |

| Applications | Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/1000.
Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: 1:50; this product does require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections; we recommend the use of antigen unmasking fluid for this purpose. A two hour incubation with SP1130 is recommended. |

| Storage | Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer.
