| Background | LAIR-1 is a 40kD cell surface molecule that functions as an inhibitory receptor on natural killer cells, monocytes and T cells. LAIR-1, otherwise known as CD305, is also expressed by other haematopoeitic cells including B cells, but is not expressed by nonhaematopoietic, platelets or erythrocytes. |

| Specificity | This antibody recognises leukocyte-associated Ig-like receptor-1 (LAIR-1). Clone NKTA255 is reported to inhibit NK cell triggering via CD16 molecules. We recommend the use of SM2048A for this purpose. Species: Human. |
| Storage | Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer.
