| Polyclonal Antibody to Monkey IgG gamma// (gamma chain specific) -FITC- | |
| Concentration | 1.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm) |
| Immunogen | Monkey IgG g gamma chain. |
| Format | State: Lyophilized purified Ig fraction. Purification: Immunoaffinity chromatography. BufferSystem: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2, 10 mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free) as stabilizer and 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide as preservative. Label: Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) (Molecular Weight 390 daltons). Absorptionemission: 495 nm / 528 nm Molarratio: 5.0 moles FITC per mole of Goat IgG. Reconstitution: Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). |
| Applications | Suitable for Immunomicroscopy and Flow cytometry or FACS analysis as well as other antibody based fluorescent assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. |
| Specificity | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Monkey IgG coupled to agarose beads.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Fluorescein, anti-Goat Serum, Monkey IgG and Monkey Serum. No reaction was observed against Monkey IgA or Monkey IgM. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other Monkey heavy or light chain isotypes. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8°C, reconstitute and store at 2-8°C for one month or at -20°C for longer. For extended storage reconstitute product with 50% glycerol instead of water and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Dilute only prior to immediate use. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch. |
