Recombinant Murine KC/CINC
Alternate namesCXCL1, GRO alpha, NAP-3, GRO1, CINC (rat)
BackgroundAll three isoforms of GRO are CXC chemokines that can signal through the CXCR1 or CXCR2 receptors. The GRO proteins chemoattract and activate neutrophils and basophils.
SourceE.coli
Format
State: Lyophilized purified fraction (>98% pure by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses) without additives.
Endotoxinlevel: < 0.1 ng per µg (1EU/µg)
Reconstitution: Restore in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.
This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 2-8°C for 1 week or
-20°C for future use.
DescriptionRecombinant murine KC is a protein consisting of 72 amino acids including the 'ELR' motif common to the CXC chemokine family that bind to CXCR1 or CXCR2.
AASequence: APIANELRCQ CLQTMAGIHL KNIQSLKVLP SGPHCTQTEV IATLKNGREA CLDPEAPLVQ KIVQKMLKGV PK

Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract total human neutrophil population using a concentration range of 10.0-100.0 ng/ml.

Molecular weight: 7.8 kDa
Add. InformationCentrifuge the vial prior to opening!
StorageStore the lyophilized protein at -20°C.
Reconstituted Murine KC should be stored in working aliquots
with a carrier protein at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Shelf life: one year from despatch.
