| Background | The Ets-1 is a transcription factor known to regulate expression of a number of genes involved in extracellular matrix remodeling. Ets-1 is absent from normal gastric epithelium but is expressed in approximately 60% of gastric carcinomas and oral squamous cell carcinomas with a significant correlation to the tumor stage.

| Applications | Immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissues: the antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:15-1:25 in an ABC method (60 minutes at room temperature).
High temperature treatment of formalin-fixed tissue sections with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, must be performed prior to the immunostaining. Recommended positive control: Tonsil. Also suitable for Western blot (1:100 - 1:500) and Immunoprecipitation. |
