HSV-1 is titered in Vero cells over a 3-day period with endpoint determination by cytopathological effect (CPE).
Storagestore the antigen at -70°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Shelf life: six months from despatch.

CautionNo test guarantees a product to be non-infectious. This preparation of HSV-1 viral lysate may contain Active Virus. All materials should be handled as if potentially infectious. Generally accepted laboratory practices appropriate for infectious materials should be employed when handling this product.
