Format
State: Liquid purified protein
Purity: Antigen is collected from both the cell and supernatant phases of tissue culture. Infected monolayers are disrupted releasing virus particles into the culture medium. Cellular debris is removed by centrifugation.
BufferSystem: Tissue culture medium
ApplicationsSonicate immediately prior to use to ensure that the preparation is uniform.
Suitable for use in ELISA.
Suited for coating on solid phase for IgG and IgM detection.
DescriptionHerpes Simplex Virus-1 (HSV-1) (Strain MacIntyre). Contains a high concentration of HSV-1 virus particles and viral components in tissue culture medium containing a low concentration of bovine serum. Contains some residual host cell proteins.
Inactivation: Inactivated using gamma radiation. Effectiveness is determined when no detection of growth in two blind passages under the original culture conditions. Result: No growth detected.
StorageStore the protein at -70°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Shelf life: one year from despatch.
